Void Miner, Crystals and Mica
Void Miner
To get started mining things using your void miner you'll need to make yourself a Memory Programmer. Click Here for more in-depth information about how to use the Memory Programmer.
Once you have a programmed Flash Memory you can then open up the GUI of the Void Miner and place it in the slot in the middle as showing in the picture. Assuming you have the structure built correctly the Void Miner will then show a duration and Tick Cost in the GUI and you will also be able to open the GUI by right clicking any of the Structure Frames or Structure Panels.
The Duration is how long it will take the miner, provided that it has the tick cost worth of energy supplied, to mine an item. The Tick Cost is the energy required per tick to allow the miner to mine at the maximum speed that is currently possible with all modifiers included.
Crystals
One of the first things you are probably going to want to mine is more Crystals. This happens to also be the way to obtain the next tier of crystal. To mine Erodium crystal you will need a tier 1 mine or above. Each tier crystal is obtained by the previous tier miner. The only crystals that have different requirements for mining are Nanorite and Xerothium crystals which, in addition to the previous tier miner, you'll need to have that miner in the End dimension.
Mica
You can obtain mica using the Resource Miner(Multi Miners->Resource Miner) or the Rocky Resource Miner(Resource Miners->Rocky Resource) programs. Mica does not have a lens focus which means there is no lens type that will improve its mining rates. The best way to obtain it is using the Rocky Resource Miner program.
